Jason,
You modeled what you were teaching perfectly! Here I am submitting a comment!
A desire for community was one of my main reasons for becoming a podcaster, but since I do a science podcast (Brain Science Podcast) building community is somewhat more difficult. I am trying to create evergreen content, so I rarely include listener comments in my podcasts. Instead, I make sure that I respond to all emails and comments personally. I have been able to build a loyal community and for my type of podcast I find the Discussion Forum to be the best tool.
